Question |
Answer |
| How will my horse react to the net? | At first, your horse may be mad at the net for making him work for his hay, but after a day or two, most horses will stop trying to bite through the net and will settle down to pulling it out with their teeth or their lips. |
| Do I need to keep tension on the net? | No, as the hay is eaten down, the body of the net becomes looser and looser...the horse handles this very well by moving the net around and searching for the hay. |
| Will the horse bite through the net? |
Occasionally an equine will bite through the net, but usually not
until the UV protection wears off and the weather and elements break down
the threads in the netting...(usually at about a year) They will not
ingest the net, just break the thread. If this should happen, take any
baling twine or small cord and close the hole. This does not happen very often, but it can, on occasion , so you need to check the hay net daily. |
| How long will the net last? | These nets have an added UV protection and should last at least 1-2 years. |
| Are the nets guaranteed? | If you are not satisfied with the net, it may be returned for a full refund (less shipping) anytime in the first 90 days with proof of purchase. |
